My name is David, I'm the Creative Executive for Gravitation Media, writing screenplays with horrible grammar and bad spelling. I'm also the host of a new show titled "Geekdom TV", showcasing places and events in and around the great city of Chicago that deal with Nerd/Geek Pop Culture.
I honestly have no ideal how this happen but I ran into the people that run anime central. They are letting host a panel. What?
Sadly I’m not that successful as a writer yet to feel the need to blog everyday. But to those that wish to be a screen writer. I can’t stress enough how important it is to protect yourself when your working in the entertainment business. Register your scripts with the WGA here’s a link http://www.wgawregistry.org/webrss/ . If someone ever contacts you to help with a project, do yourself a favor and get something in writing that will protect your self interests. It’s almost impossible to make a break in the industry. You want to make sure that when you do get in, you can stay to enjoy the view.

sirfatty-deactivated20110710: What does a creative executive do?
My friends and I are starting a production company in Chicago called Gravitation Media. Working as a creative executive I pick scripts and projects for Gravitation Media to work on. Right now We’re not really taking scripts because we have our own projects to work on. But for our own projects, I work on them, create log lines and tweak them if they need it. Meaning I’ll take a script that one of us wrote and give notes in which I think the story should go or characters should develop.
